It's still January so according to me, that's not too late to write a post about 2017!
How are you all?! It was a busy start to the year for me. I had it in mind to do something like this since the beginning of the year but hadn't gotten around to it until now. Looking back on 2017 in terms of my photography is exciting. My shop was the most successful it's been, a few of my photos were licensed, and I got launch this website and blog. The website launch enabled me to once again have more freedom to use Flickr as a way to express my art without being worried about how it made the "business side" look. The best part of all of this is that while I get a lot of enjoyment out of it, other people enjoy it as well. That is incredible to me and I am so thankful for each and every one of you. Thank you for making 2017 a great year in photography!
I thought it would be neat to show some of the "best of 2017." It's interesting for me to see which photos you like most!
Based on views and favorites, this picture was my most popular upload on Flickr in 2017! As many of you know, all of my Flickr photos represent something that has happened or is happening in my life. In this one I talked about going through hard times and how bitterness doesn't work. If you wanna read more, check out my Flickr. This photo was actually taken in 2014 but I decided to pull it out of the archives and upload it last year.
Top Instagram of 2017! It was great connecting with you all and with fellow photographers last year. Thanks for all of the love on this photo and all of the others! (Follow me @victorialivolsiphotography!)
This was by far the best selling product on my Society6 shop in 2017!!
Now for my personal favorite... I really like the light in this picture and the overall composition. Oftentimes, I'll skip over certain pictures I don't like but I won't delete them. Later on, I'll come back and realize how much I actually like them. That happened here! This was a Flickr upload about love and relationships. Again, check out my Flickr if you want to read more!
Thank you again for making 2017 so great!
